The 17th Lyon Biennale
Entitled "Les voix des fleuves, Crossing the water", the 17th edition of the Lyon Biennale invites artists to interrogate and investigate the subject of the waxing and waning relationships of human beings with one another and with their environment.
Grandes Locos, a news venue for the Biennale !
The Lyon Biennale is equipping itself to reach an even wider public. For its next editions (Art and Dance), it will be hosting artists and audiences at the new Grandes Locos site, the new name for the former railway engineering depot at La Mulatière. The site has been made available by the Greater Lyon Authority, and will become a new cultural hub as the Biennale's flagship venue.

The Résonance network brings together a substancial number of art galleries, museums, cultural institutions and artist collectives with the aim to propose various events in relation to Biennale’s theme and thus reflect the region’s vibrant art scene.
Young International Artists at IAC
This complementary mix of institutions – inter-territory collaborations, pooled networks, and reaching out to a variety of audiences – is highly unusual both in France and worldwide. It offers unprecedented visibility to young artists whose work is, as yet, little known.
